Teriyaki Chicken Don
A simple teriyaki chicken don dish with succulent chicken thighs in a homemade teriyaki sauce served over rice with tomato and salad.

- 2 skinless Chicken Thigh Fillets
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons sake
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cornflour
Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons sake
- 2 teaspoon sugar
To Serve
- Rice
- 0.5 Tomato
- Mixed Salad
Method

Step 1: Prep Chicken
Slice the chicken (try not to slice too thin).
Dust with 1 teaspoon cornflour and massage well to coat.

Step 2: Make Teriyaki Sauce
In a bowl, combine 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 tablespoons mirin, 2 tablespoons sake, and 2 teaspoons sugar. Set aside.

Step 3: Fry Chicken
Preheat medium-high oil in a pan. Fry the chicken for 2 minutes on one side.
Flip and fry for another 2 minutes.

Step 4: Add Sauce
Pour the prepared teriyaki sauce over the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the chicken.

Step 5: Assemble
Serve the chicken over rice and garnish with 1/2 tomato and a mixed salad.
